After School Enrichment

At GAINVille Learning Center, we provide dynamic After School Language Programs that are designed to expose students to a world outside their box.

Our Language Workshops offer children, ages 6 to 9 and 10-13 an opportunity to learn a new language through innovative culture-specific modules and interactive activities. This is an after school program designed to equip young minds with specific knowledge about a target cultural cluster through a language-based curriculum and hands-on-activities that include: cooking, multicultural arts & crafts and ‘around the world’ tutorials.  This unique program is infused with geography, history, current events, arts, music, and cuisine modules.  Cultural activities build problem solving skills and encourage students to learn a foreign language by being exposed to its culture while exploring an otherwise uncharted territory.

French, Arabic, Spanish, and Italian languages are taught by native language teachers who actively engage students in meaningful, motivating and challenging activities taught in real-life experience and activity-based learning.

This program meets after school or on Saturdays for 90 minutes, once a week for 12 weeks. Each language workshop covers one level of the language with three sub-levels for beginner, intermediate and advanced learners.  Each student is assessed at the onset of the class to determine what level he or she falls into prior to placement in the class.

If just learning the language, (reading, writing, and/or speaking), is the goal for your child, then the Language Lab will be an invaluable asset in zeroing in on just one target area and developing particular skills sets in learning the language.  Packages for this program are available in 20, 30 or 40 hour increments.
