Global Citizenship is both a moral imperative and an economic necessity. A social entrepreneur is someone who recognizes a social problem and uses entrepreneurial principles to organize, create, and manage a venture to make social change.
Social entrepreneurship is not about catching fish for others or teaching them how to catch fish, but rather it is about playing a leadership role by revolutionizing the fishing industry in a socially responsible manner.
Global leaders build partnerships by looking at the big picture while at the same time consulting with key stakeholders at every level. They approach this duality with cultural sensitivity and awareness, using the appropriate communication approach to get the message across.
