Our cultural competence programs for adults consist of 2-month sessions that focus on a chosen region in the world. While our current focus is on the French and Arab regions, we will be incrementally introducing other regions.
Through interactive 2-hour sessions that meet once a week, we provide individuals with a thorough exposure to history, geography, people & culture, and present and future trends of target world cultures.
Sessions offered within the Through Our Lens series utilize visual and auditory media as well as website resources to disseminate knowledge gathered including well-researched facts and figures.
Our series include four modular themes, each offered during the course of a two-week period. Participating in all four modules constitutes exposure to the full region. We also provide the option to sign up for one, two or three modules of choice.
