Have you ever wondered what your life would be like if you lived in Japan, England, Russia, or even in the Middle East? Global Citizens are exposed to a multi-faceted view of the world by learning stories from children who live in diverse environments that represent unique countries from all around the world! During these ten days, each day will be dedicated to a particular story of a child from a different global community. This narrative will describe their daily routines, schooling, customs and traditions, and what they do in their day-to-day lives. Throughout the day, camp participants will mimic everything that the child from another part of the country does in the story. Children from ages 10-13 will be exposed to various lifestyles that are so different, allowing them to gain insight into the world outside the box. In these camp sessions, the global citizens will learn how to accept and appreciate the diversity in others and in the cultures that embrace the world in which they live!
This is a great opportunity for your child to gain knowledge about the different cultures and peoples from all around the world. Building global and multicultural understanding for different cultural influences will be our mantra that will launch everyone on this journey of global education!
