The following are the competencies we seek to develop in our program participants:
To appreciate the deeply held values, cultural idiosyncrasies, and pressing priorities of the many countries and regions of the world;
To analyze global issues within the context of the competing challenges many countries or regions face;
To understand the interconnectedness of global systems across the various economic, social, cultural, racial, religious, technological, and ecological domains;
To take action and practice behaviors for positive outcomes by developing the habit of translating beliefs and knowledge into specific strategies for change; and
To partake in the actual process of actionable steps within each person’s means and limitations for just and peaceful solutions of global challenges.
