GainVille Learning Center offers reduced-admission bi-weekly Language Immersion Story Times which introduce children and their parents to a taste of the Mandarin, Italian, Spanish, Arabic and French languages. Our story times run for one-hour segments and expose all participants to a target language, in open-circle format whereby parent and child will expand their language vocabulary through songs, role play, art, and storytelling. Books and activities are chosen within the framework of a theme such as: seasons, colors, numbers, animals, etc. The books chosen to be read by native teachers will have both a high context for the target culture as well as simple language concepts.
GainVille believes that the Language Immersion Story Times are a great way to introduce young children to key concepts in a foreign language without exhausting their curiosity or attention spans.
Our dual language story time is best suited for children who are learning two languages simultaneously, as well as the children who are learning a second language while developing their first language at the same time. Our bi-weekly storytimes provide a great no-commitment opportunity to sample our language immersion approach and gain a taste for our classes. $15 for first child; $10 for each additional child.
