Spin the Globe is a new summer camp that reflects the mission and values of GainVille. As a multicultural learning and training center, one of our goals is to educate global citizens, one culture at a time. In this case, all of the three camps Camp Global Leadership, Camp Global Citizenship, and Camp GlobeSpinners aim to fortify our mission by extending the opportunity to school-aged children and emerging leaders of our community.
Our Rationale
The discourse on globalization has become one of the dominant narratives of the 21st century. As this burgeoning phenomenon penetrates our public and private lives, we face changes that lead us to ask pressing questions. How well prepared are we as parents and educators to help our future leaders adapt to the opportunities and challenges presented by globalization, and how and to what extent are we willing to pursue this endeavor?
How We Do It
Here at GainVille, we address the implications that an integrated world has on our global and local communities, and specifically on our children. GainVille, a multicultural learning and training center, is a unique, local launching pad for this undertaking. Our mission is to promote cultural awareness, respect for diversity, global mindsets and cross-cultural communication. We believe that combining mainstream and global education facilitates tolerance and creates economic advantage.
