ECLIPSe (English Cultural and Language Instruction Programs and Services) is an interactive program for serious students who are interested in learning the English Language at GainVille Learning and Training Center. ECLIPSe uses the proven communicative approach to language learning. This approach makes for lively, interactive classes where students engage in a wide range of activities using multiple methods of learning. Our programs include an English Language enrichment program which teaches non-English speaking students as well as students with varying English language competency interested in strengthening their skills in conversational and formal English. Full-time classes are held Mondays through Fridays 9:00am – 1:00pm for a total of 80 hours per month. Part-time classes are held twice a week for two hours each for a total of 16 hours per month. Both full-time and part-time programs are one month modules.
We provide customized English Multimedia Labs, one-on-one instruction as well as group instruction. Classes include structure/ speaking practice, reading/writing, conversational / grammatical instruction and critical reading. We also train students in the cultural diversity of American life. Our target clientele are businessmen and women, new immigrants to the United States, spouses of F1 students, and any person who is interested in enhancing his/her knowledge of the English Language.
Our ESL, Toefl Prep, Writing Workshops and Cultural Sights & Sounds provide a comprehensive program at GAINLearning Center that will enable each student to become fluent readers, writers, and speakers of the English language.
